Ocean's Bounty was founded by Kabir Parker, a marine scientist who wanted to make a bigger impact than working in a lab could offer. While visiting family in India, Kabir discovered the world of seaweed farming along the coastal villages of South India — and saw something special.
Coastal women were sustainably cultivating tropical seaweeds in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. It was environmentally regenerative, it supported livelihoods, and the seaweed itself was packed with plant hormones, amino acids, and trace minerals that science had already proven to boost plant growth.
Kabir brought his marine science background to the project — sourcing the best tropical seaweed and ensuring every bottle meets rigorous quality standards. The result is a product that's organic, eco-friendly, and genuinely effective.
